Our Social Responsibility

CMBM embraces Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a core aspect of our business model. CSR is the framework in which our company integrates social and environmental concerns into our operations and interactions with our stakeholders. We understand that it involves going beyond profit-making to contribute positively to our community, while also balancing economic, social and environmental goals.

We are passionate about more than just keeping your spaces clean and well maintained — we’re here to create healthier, safer, and more welcoming environments for everyone.

From reducing waste and improving sustainability, to delivering quality workmanship and supporting inclusion within our teams, we’re always looking for better ways to serve our clients and make a positive impact in the communities we work in.

Environmental sustainability

Reducing waste, conserving energy and adopting eco-friendly practices.

Philanthropy & Community engagement

Donating money, resources or time to charitable causes. Supporting local communities through education, health initiatives or other social programs.

Ethical labour practices & Transparency

Ensuring fair treatment and safety for employees and supporting fair labour standards across the supply chain. Operating with integrity, transparency and accountability in business dealings.

SMART PUPS

As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, CMBM is proud to sponsor Smart Pups, donating monthly to support the training and development of assistance puppies directly.

Established in 2011, Smart Pups is a not-for-profit organisation based on the Sunshine Coast. It is dedicated to the training and placing of assistance dogs with children who have autism, epilepsy, diabetes or other mobility conditions.

Smart Pups acts as a bridge between each child and the outside world as they boost a child’s confidence, enhance vocabulary, reduce anxiety, prevent overstimulation and improve sleep patterns. They can alert guardians to seizures up to 10 minutes before they occur and detect low blood sugar in children with diabetic concerns.

Additionally, they can assist children who struggle with mobility to open doors, pick up dropped objects and more. These pups provide a lifesaving and life-changing benefit.
